I'm stretching my back, and I heard my bone cracking. Ugh… I need to… lay down. "You alright?" I'm nodding my head.
"Lobak? Is that you?" We turn to our back and found Josh holding a glass of champagne.
Josh, he was my ex-best friend from UK. He decides moved to this city four years ago because of his works as an engineer. "Oh, Josh, this is my wife, Rose. Um… babe, she the person I've been told you before." He shakes his hand to my wife.
"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Gabriela. I hope my existence here does not bother your… honeymoon." He said.
Damn for social media. I forgot to block him in my Instagram. "Nice to meet you, too." She said. "Lobak said you worked for… Golden Company!? It's a vast company, right? How you can worked there?" She glance at me. Josh chuckling as he put his champagne on the table. First impression on him, I'm still don't like him. We have been experiencing ongoing disagreements and tensions.
"Hahaha… it's just luck, ma'am." He licks his lip. I don't know what are you think about, Josh. I feel something was off. "Your wife has a high standard for her lad, doesn't she?" I rolled my eyes.
Take a deep breath, Lobak. He never changed, doesn't he? He thrilled for my downfall. Now, I'm on your top. I keep telling myself to hold back my wrath. Why he got invited!? Does Mr. Lee know him!?
I take a sip of my mocktail and cleared my throat. "Lobak is Lobak, right? She likes to mingle with another woman, but she also has standard for herself." Rose compliment me, or she just… mocking me? Well, nevermind, I asked her later.
I take a sip of my mocktail, and looking surround me. Josh seems interested in destroying my image, or he wants to pick a fight with me. "Do you know she has… crazy ex?"
I took a deep breath and griped my hand. "I already know. Why? You haven't heard? Her ex girlfriend was her employee." Josh literally wants her. I hold her hand. "Lobak, I want to meet your… new friend. I heard she also invited to this party."
I raised my eyebrow. It's difficult anyway to talking with him. "Oh, yeah… of course! Let's we meet her." I tapped Josh's left shoulder, then leave with her. I leave my un-finished mocktail and we go to the bar.
"I'm sorry to mock you earlier, babe. I don't have intention because…" Mr. Lee's appearance disturbed our conversation. Today, he's not alone. A male tall guy followed him. Who's that guy!?
"Mrs. Gabriela, is nice to see you here." We shake hand, then looking at my side. I pulled her closer, surround my hand on her waist. "This is…"
"My wife. We… just got married 8 days ago." Mr. Lee nodding his head. This is awkward. "Your son?" I asked.
He tapped his shoulder. "His name is Seon-U. I thought you… more interested in having… relationship with my son." No offense, sir. Your son seems like doesn't want to stay longer on your side. "Enjoy the party, and congratulation on your wedding."
They leaving me there with my wife. I'm a bit regret this time. "Do you want to leave?" I'm looking at my wrist. We're here just for 45 minutes. This kind of party is not fit for us. Looked at them.
Some of them who attended this party have their own agenda. A good intention or not, it's not our business. We walked to the exit door of this ballroom. Hah, I waste a million for this suit, but we decide to leave the party. Well, at least there's a place I want to visit with her.
"Babe, do you know… a restaurant on the bus?" She nodding her head. "Do you want to go there, or…" oh, right. I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the rooftop.
"Lobak, slow down!" Shit. I forgot she was wearing heels. I piggyback her. "Where are we going? We haven't had dinner!" I stopped.
She's right. I took a deep breath and put her down. "I just…" She rubbed my back. "Want to venting my anger." She hummed.
"I know a place, but… my feet hurts." I took off her heals, piggyback her again.

I swing the baseball bat while a rock music playing in the background. I keep smashing all the items inside this room until the music stopped.
Huff… huff… huff… I'm looking at the scene in front of me. Smashing all these things makes me sweating. I need to take a bath again. "Your time is out. Do you want to extend again, ma'am?" I shook my head.
Rose takes me to this room. Oh, God. I don't know how to face her this time. I walked outside, approaching her. "Hey, how's your…" She pulled my arms, to checking on me. "Your… elbow is bleeding. Is that alright?" She wrinkled her eyebrow.
Maybe it's happened while I'm smashing the bottle. "It's sting." I sit next to her. She keeps staring at me with that look. "Am I…"
"I'm sorry about earlier," she holds my hand. "I don't have an intention to mock you, but… it seems… you pissed with that." Honestly, yes, but she's not wrong. I used like to mingle with another woman, but it was a long time ago.
I grabbed her hand and rubbed her hand. "I'm pissed, but… it's fine." She surrounded her arms on my waist, leaned her head on my chest. I stroked her hair.
"I don't like Josh. What's your history with him? It seems he doesn't like you that much." She lifts her head to stare into my eyes.
My history Josh and I it's all about girls, money, and gender. He's a bit misogyny and sexism towards a woman he knows. Plus, I broke his cousin's heart. "I've been told you a story about… Lily, right?" She hummed. "Lily is… Josh's cousins. He doesn't like me, and I don't like him. When Lily caught me hanging out with my senior, she maybe already told him."
I took a deep breath and looking at my elbow. "Um… babe, we need to go to the pharmacy." She put a clean tissue on my elbow and hold the wound as if I will lose my blood.
"Let's go, then!" She dragged me. I'm looking at her from this side. Am I frightened her?
"Babe, can I ask you one question?" She hummed. "Do I… scared you?" She stopped her steps, looking at me. I'm staring into her eyes. Tonight the sky is so bright, I can see a lot of stars shine from above as if watching. I put my suit on her shoulders.
"No, I'm not scared of you, but it seems your wrath triggered by him and my words." I embrace her.
I know she's lying. Who doesn't scared with me? I'm a sociopath. I often blackmail other people. "Don't be afraid, please. I'm promise to not hurt you, raise my tone, and cold to you."
I let go of my embrace to wipe her tears. "I just…"
"I'm understand, we both have scar to be healed." I kissed her forehead, then looked into her eyes. "Let's we… take it slowly, okay? We should take our time to… figure it out together. You and me." She slapped my chest.
"Thank you," she peck my cheek.
We continue our journey to the pharmacy. Now, I already found my Bonnie. "Babe," she hummed. "I love you." I never speak out loud of that words. She stops her step again, looked at me. "I love you." I repeat my words again.
I piggyback her. "I love you too, Freja." She said near my ear, then kissed my cheek. Your world is my world. I don't want to dance without you. I hope our relationship will last forever with you.
