I took a deep breath and wiped my sweat, "You sweat a lot," I sat in the waiting room and looked behind my back. I saw her hand me a bottle of Pocari Sweat.
"It's not of your business again, Eva. I have a wife," I walked to the gym again and approached my wife. I already talked to her sister. She asked for a job because no one won't hire her.
"She already arrived?" I nodded, "okay, stay calm." I walked to the weight bench on the corner.
I put on my earbud and started to work out as the music played.
Flashback on
I sat on the couch and leaned on my back. I straightened my legs and put them on the table. Oh, God. It feels good. After jogging for 3 hours, I get a leg day.
"Where you've been?" She looks at me.
"Jogged. Why?" She rolled her eyes and left. Weird. All of my ex-girlfriends know that I can't live without sports and basketball.
"You sick! How many times have I told you to stop!?" I sighed.
"I'm tired..." she won't let me finish my words.
"It's your fault you're tired!" She throws a bottle at me. "I have a meeting and will go home late! If you're not taking a rest, I leave!" I nodded.
Flashback off
Jack and I approached Eva at the pool area.
"My client won't speak to you," Eva tried to push Jack away, "what you did right now. It will destroy your reputation." I put my hand on my jacket, and we sat in the poolside cafe.
"I want to take my chance to come back to her! I'm sorry," I know that tone. She's desperate. She needs someone to blame. I'm whispering to Jack, and he will say to her.
"My client said she already has a wife and won't give you a chance. She..." I whispered again, "she said you were desperate." She stunned. Her bright face turned pale.
"My client forgives all your fault, but she can't come back to you," she sighed, "as her friend and lawyer, I want you to don't come into my client's life anymore," Jack and I stood up.
"Wait..." I heard Eva yell my name. We choose to ignore her.
"Now, what do you want to do? I heard Galih, sent by his mom to the UK." I took a deep breath.
"When?" I unzipped my sweat jacket and looked at him, "Listen, Jack. I don't know his intention was for good or not, but I think it's the effect on what I choose. I choose to tell his mom and tell everything. It's domino effect..." my words got cut by Rose's screaming.
We hurried to get inside the gym and saw Eva trying to kill Rose and my baby.
"Shit," I approached them and pushed Eva aside. "Rose, are you okay?" I growled because I saw a scratch on her arm.
"Lobak, don't..." I clenched my fist.
"You..." I growled and stomped towards her. "I never get mad, but this time," I punched the mirror behind her. All of the people inside this gym looked at me.
All of their faces turned pale and stunned. No one dares to speak. I can hear my breath echoing, "It's too much. My patient, it's empty," Eva's body trembles. I squad in front of her and showed my left hand to her.
"I love my wife! Why would you not understand!?" I said, my voice echoing. I can't feel anything because of adrenaline.
"Lobak... stop," I heard Rose screaming. I hurried to her.
"Let's go to the hospital, okay?" Rose nodded.
I hope you are okay, my baby. Hang in there. "Jack," he approached me, "please take care of 'her' and make sure to write all statements of the people who watched this incident." I grabbed Rose.
"I'm fine, Lobak..." she said, "punching walls was too much." I chuckle.
She put her hand on my chest, "you looked like Wayne Bruce right now. I know you won't hurt Eva and me at the same time. Maybe that's why you punched the mirror?" She asked.
"Yes," I said, "and I don't want to ruin my reputation. I want to make the environment for our children, you, and your mom safe," she hugged me.
I lay her body in the lobby. I sat on the armchair. Now, I can feel anything. Rose grabbed my hand and inspected my wound. "I saw a lot of blood and bruises," she sighed.
"Thank you for holding your anger," I observed her beautiful face.
"So, when are we attending the court?" I did not answer her question. Smiled drawn on my face, "Lobak, you were not deaf, right?" I shook my head.
"Why were you not answering my q-question," I took a deep breath, "you mad?" She nods.
"I am, but what you were doing is for the sake of your family. Why would I should be mad?" I sit next to her.
We looked into each other's eyes, "you mad," Rose hugged me.
"How can I not be mad because you almost killed someone! You nearly killed her!" She hugged me tight, "promise me you should join anger management, or I leave with the baby!" I respond to her with a hug.
"I'll make sure you never see our baby!" She's sobbing.
I rubbed her back and kissed her cheek, "anything else?" Rose did not answer, "I'm here. lets us finish this thing, okay?" She let go of my hugs and looked me in the eye.
I rubbed Rose's stomach, "I'm sorry to act stupid again," I kissed Rose's forehead and looked at her. "Let's go to the hospital. I'm curious..." before I finished my words, I saw Galih approaching us.
"Lobak, Rose, we need to talk," I crossed my left leg and looked at him.
"Sometimes, people who said wants to talk to me. It's important or wasting time." I hold Rose's hand.
"We..." Galih was kneeling and followed by his guards.
"You can kill me after this! Please hear me." Okay, It's important.
I'm looking at Rose, "lockdown this hotel, destroy the CCTV footage..." Rose shook her head. What?
"I have enough playing with the royal!" Okay, I should hear what my wife wants to say.
"We will not disable the CCTV. Are you okay with that?" I asked Galih. Galih sat on the armchair and took a deep breath.
"I'm cool with it," okay, as your wish, your majesty.
