Chapter 39 - Chapter 24: Vow (Part 1)

I grabbed my hat, and I'm wearing my iWatch, "so, you ready to cleaning up your mess?" I nodded, "I'm ready," I wear my hat and looked at this pile of garbage, "you sure want to get rid of all these wine collections?" She nods, "do you have any idea how to get rid of all of these?" I nodded.

"Sell them to wine lovers, or we can open auctions." She humming while she rubs her chin, "do you have any idea how worth is your wines?" I nodded. "78,9 million dollars, that's for five bottles," she looked at me, "so you bought them all for investment?" I nodded.

"Yeah, but you throw them all, so my investment on wine is 0 dollars," she looks at me, "why did you not tell me?" I'm scratching my hair, "I don't want to disturb your fun. You seem happy while destroying that wine, so, yeah." She laughs.

"Hey, what's wrong?" We looked at Delinda, "so you guys want to clean up the house?" Rose nodding her head and sighed. "You know, she was drinking last month, and she lies to me." Delinda pushes me, and she put a knife on my nose.

"It's before we become a couple, so I forgive her," I nodded. Dear Delinda's future baby, I hope you did not follow your mother's path. Your mom was damn nuts! "You save this time!" I sighed in relief.

"Let's we go cleaning your cat's cage first" I nodded. I grabbed the bucket and mop, and we walked to my cat's cage. It's a cleaning day, once in two months. I hope they keep healthy and stay longer. "You guys ready!?" I saw all my cats looked at me, except Paruru. She stays in the tiny cage because she will bring her kittens to the other side of this house, including the roof.

"So, yeah?" I opened the door as I make a sound like a trumpet. I put the bucket nearby the door, "so I'm cleaning their litter box, and you were cleaning the floor?" She shook her head, "we cleaning it together as a team, okay? You brush it!" I nodded. "Okay" I grabbed three litter boxes, and I took a deep breath.

"You washed the litter?" I nodded, "the organic one can't." She hums, "so you choose, non-organic?" I nodded. "Let me be busy," She chuckles, "you tired?" I looked at her, "no, can you give me six more?" Rose nodded. I put these litter boxes on the side. "So, do you have something to tell me?" I looked at her, "like what?" She shrugged her shoulders.

"The other reason you love them, then you love me?" I chuckle, "because they keep me alive. I don't know if all of them moved into different houses," She looked at me, "can you tell me?" I sighed.

"My mom, she gave up on them, but I won't. I'm not eating for four days," she stunned, "how!?" I chuckle. 'I'm not giving up on them, Rose. I won't give on you, either. The reason I love them is, they need love, and they deserve better. I'm always reading inspirational stories about cats worldwide. There's a dump collector, he has a lot of cats, but he can buy them food and taking care of all of them. I won't give up on them, Rose. I won't," I put the 5th litter box next to the 4th litter box.

"My parents gave up so easily. It's like typical Indonesian or Asian parents want a perfect score, a good job, on their kids, but their kids want something else. It's unfair for me. My brother has a little wage than me. So, why were they not giving up giving their grandchild to the orphanage? It's not fair for me," she pats my shoulder.

"You alright?" I looked at Becky, who was sits on the cat castle, "Becky, almost gone missing," I wipe my tears, "Her brother, Phil, and her child crying to call her name, and I can't hold it anymore, I grabbed the cat food, and I was looking for her," she hums.

"How you met her and brings her home?" I sighed, "I met her at her original place, the empty house. I cried in front of her and begged her to go home. I looked at her eyes. Becky was sad and angry when my mom said that." I took a deep breath and wipe my sweat, "I don't know, sometimes I feel it's a right choice, but God never wants me to give up, so..." I'm smiling. "One month later, I've got an email that my payday time came. So, I brought all of them to the vet. I pay my bill, debt, and repair my phone." I sighed.

"And a Royal Canin Party," I'm smiling as looking at my cats running in the yard, playing chase and tag, "I know, I screw! But did I deserve this Rose? I mean, my parents hate me, they were treating me like I'm unwanted child," she hugs me, "you sad? Your feeling feels hurt?" I nodded.

"It's not fair, the wound stuck in my brain..." she hugs me tight, "don't tell me if it hurts. I know what you were feeling, Lobak. You never got love from your parents, and I get it," I respond to her hugs. "They only want my money," she shushing.

"Hey, it's okay, you live on your life now, looked at them, they happy and healthy, it's because of you they alive, including your naughty cat Luna, I wanted you to focused what you have now," I looked at Rose with my teary eyes. "you are a CEO," I hugged her. "You have one little studio, two houses, four cars, a lot of money, genius, an author, a lot of fans, 14 cats, and loving future wife, who was loving you. You have it all. You have love from my parent. You have my mom and Hanks." I hold her hand.

"Hey, it's okay to cry. You cry because you are not weak. It's a burden you haven't resolved, and finally resolved!" I'm sobbing, "the important is, you have friends, Delinda, Henry, Kevin, Alex, Kenzie, and I'm your lifetime 'friend,' right? We promise to not leaving each other side, living in the same house, do like a couple does," I wipe my tears.

"You can cry on my shoulders," I hug her. "I don't know what to do, Rose." She responds to my hug, "you do not break your promise because I know you were a rare butch," I chuckle. "Stop saying that," I took a deep breath and sighed. "Let's continue our cleaning routine," I wipe my tears.

"I know you were hurt, but cheer up!" I looked at Rose's face. I promise I will protect that smile, Rose. I swear to God.
