We sat in the bar lounge to have some a little conversation. It's been a while since I talked to him. Last time we talked, he already moved to Jakarta because of his works.
"I never talked to your dad again since we moved to the Jakarta. How's them?"
I cleared my throat and smiled. "My family was fine. My brother, Mike? He already has a one year daughter, too."
"Ah, congratulations. Lobak!" He said. "What do you do now?" He asked.
"I'm an author, sir. Also, a couple months ago, I bought a company and now I run them."
"Lobak is Lobak. Formal all the time, even I already told you to call me uncle?"
"I'm talking to my mentor." I take a bite of this croissant. It's a bit early for me to eat a croissant.
"What troubles you so much? You have an eyebag there. Student's issue or you have any difficulties in your life?" He looks concern. My dad and he were close. Especially his daughter has a crush on me. We never become a couple because I respect her dad.
I wiped my nose and straightened my body. "I bought a troubled company and everything is a mess. There's a lot of leaked document, corruptions, blackmailing, toxic working environment, and many more." I scratched my nose and cleared my throat.
"So, where's the questions?" He furrowed his brow.
"How do I manage this company? I mean… I need your skill as a manager to give me an insight and a hand." Last time I remembered, this hot chocolate was smooth and did not taste like it's a cocoa powder.
"What field your company is?" He asked.
"Logistic. Same as my dad."
He nodded his head. "Why you did not ask your dad? He's the good one, right?" I'm scratching my hair and leaned my back.
I need laying on the bed as soon as possible. Fuck. I covered my mouth. "I came out last year as a lesbian," he stared at me in silence.
"How's about the person who is standing next to you?" He asked.
"She is my fiancee. We… will get married in three months."
"Oh… she is your fiancee. I thought she's your wife." I rubbed my left eye and nodded. He patted my shoulder and squeezed. "How's your life after that?" I cleared my throat and cough.
"Better you take rest. I forgot you have asthma." He patted my back. "Also, it's still early for us to talk." He's right. "Are you stayed here?" He asked.
I nodded my head. "I stay here for one night." He hummed.
"I returned to Jakarta on Sunday," he said. "My daughter didn't know that you were staying at this hotel. Honestly, I never thought you were here."
I scratching my hair and we walked down the corridor. "Well, maybe… I can extend my stay here." He was chuckling. He pressed the elevator button, and we waited.
A bellboy approached us. "Ms. Gabriella and Mr. Rahmat." He bows his head. "Long time no see!"
"You still worked here, Adi?" Mr. Rahmat asked.
"Yeah. A lot of old employee resigned and some of them are still loyal. How's about your family Ms. Gabriela?
"My family is fine." I said.
I just want to go to my room quickly. Elevator's sound ring to my ear. Adi holds the door for us. What nice about this hotel, just a memory.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. It will become my fresh memory of this hotel. People crowded this hotel, but today, I don't find any.

I blinked my eyes several times and looked at Rose, who was sleeping next to me.
I survived and almost passed out and fall from the stairs. I dragged my hand, but to no avail. She's awake. "Ugh… what time is it?" She asked.
I pulled her closer and put my arm surround her waist. "I don't know." Our phone died. We forgot to bring our phone charger. Well, I did not blame her. This is out of our plan.
She sits and looked at me. "We should buy a cheap one!" I followed her and stretch my muscle. I took a deep breath and looked at her.
"We have a telephone and a laptop. I grabbed it later, and I called Hanks to bring us our phone charger and some clothes."
She looks so relief. What's going on? I hugged my pillow and sighed. "Lobak, what's wrong?" I looked at her.
Rose was here. Sleeping next to me, pretending to become my wife, and she always did this. I know it's wrong, but why I can feel she's the one? I looked at her chocolate eyes. "Can I ask something?"
She furrowed her brow and hugged the pillow. I'm not sure if I wanted to ask this. "Lobak?" God, help me.
I cleared my throat and took a deep breath. "Do you have a girlfriend or boyfriend?" I waited her for her answer. "I-it's alright if you did not want to…"
"Yes," huh?! "I was having a boyfriend, but he was my best friend's boyfriend." What?! She's the third-wheel? Don't jump into conclusion, Lobak. Rose for me, it's not looks like that a person who wants to steal someone.
"That means you already broke up with him?" She nodding her head.
A tears falling from her eyes. "All the people surround me didn't know what happened, but they burned the bridge, cut my resources, and I lose my position." Oh, she's worked with her employer's before." She wipes her tears. It must be tough. Rose doesn't like me.
I can do whatever I want, but she can't. Society was not fair to her. "I wasn't alone." She nodding her head.
"You right. You and I were the same. We faced the same problems every day." I grabbed her hand and rubbed it. "I'm sorry I…" I pulled her neck and kissed her.
I don't expect that I encountered black and white of life on the same day today. She pushed her body. "Get up!" I sit in front of her and continue what we did earlier.
I know it against my principal. Never sleep with another girl before we already get married. I'm looking for love, not lust. We stared into each other eyes, and she unbuttoned my shirt slowly. "Please, erase my pain." She said near my ear.
I should decide. It will have impact for the future.
