Hello!
Thank you for reading Red's First Love.
Join me in unraveling Red's real identity. Let's discover new things with her.
This novel is not just a love story.
Some points to consider:
1. There will be at least two volumes. As I've said in the synopsis, it will take time for all the themes - first love, royal romance, and transmigration - to manifest. The first volume will start out as something young/sweet/refreshing. In the succeeding volumes, it will become more mature and messy with royal romance and politics, alchemy, sorcery, and other entangled fates.
2. Alchemy is defined as the transformation of energy with the use of/involving an object, and is similar to science in real life, whereas Sorcery is defined in this novel as the transformation of energy without the use of a tool or physical object; rather, it utilizes the spellcaster's body as a medium that bridges the energy source (typically supernatural) and the recipient of the energy. The transformation happens inside the spellcaster's body.
Alchemy follows a more rigid mechanism while Sorcery could be outrageously boundless against higher stakes.
3. The world where Red was summoned to is called Briar Glen Realm and a map is attached in the comments section for reference.
4. My writing style is a bit slow-paced so I added slice-of-life in the tags. I'm trying to shift into a faster pace but we'll see.
5. There are chapters which seem like it does not have anything to offer but maybe you want to think again because sometimes there are hints that will be relevant later on in the story.
6. Certainly, it will have a happy ending.
7. It's my first time writing in the fantasy genre so please be kind to me haha. I appreciate all comments (break it to me gently).
8. The story will be both character-driven and plot-driven. I am hoping to achieve a good mix of the two. In reference to my other novels:
a. 'Milady's Fine Gentleman' = plot-driven
b. 'Light Years Away' = character-driven
9. Dear reader, since you reach this point, the last 'hint' is that the title pertains to a person. :)
I hope we reach the end of the novel together.
Happy reading.
Love lots.
