Boom!
The deafening boom caused many to stagger and fall down as the sensation had caused concussions in many. The soldiers barely avoided such a fate as they peered into the pavilion.
But the cloud of dust that whirled inside had made their visibility severely limited.
"Shit..."
The soldiers, assigned to protect the Temple of God of Forging couldn't help but grit their teeth. They wanted to go inside and check the cause but they were afraid of losing lives.
One needs to remember that the high priest was one among the many that were skewered to death!
But a second later, the note of something dashing through the air could be heard and the cloud was agitated at once. The abrupt turbulence caused the dust to move out of the chamber and clear the line of sight.
