Adam's mind recollected that time when he killed some robed people in the alleyway. They had something similar to a brand on their skin.

"But how does the brand is related to the artefacts one has?" The earthling's query was still unanswered.

Alto looked around for a moment as if suspicious of someone overhearing them. "The Temples of Gods may seem friendly and hospitable to each other, but they harbour ill intentions to each other. The underlying intention is the politics of the empires and the control of the strings. With power and authority, a religion can flourish beyond consideration.
