The doors of the Guardian Chamber opened with a rough noise and the twin doors swung sideways. The sheer thickness of that stone construct sent a chill up their spine.
What... is... happening...???
A thick cloud of smoke had occupied the inside of the chamber. It slowly oozed out into the courtyard with every passing second. The scenery was heavenly.
While everyone was petrified and scared shitless, there was an exception. One of them was delighted to catch the glimpse of the Dungeon Heart sitting inside the chamber, on a throne, on a raised platform.
Adam grinned at this unprecedented event as he stepped forth. He took this as an indication of invitation.
But... he was wrong.
Before he could cover the distance of ten metres, giant silhouettes emerged from the chamber. The smoke outlined the upright structure of the beasts as they walked outside.
