These words made Adam frown. 'What do you mean?'
[What I meant is, we were wrong to think that it was a dungeon.]

Adam's strength is not unbelievably high or extraordinary in nature but the possession of the armour enabled him to take on an Elder Dragon's full might. This gave a considerable boost to his courage and spirit.
