The utterance accompanied by fear and profuse sweating was simply too much to not notice. The trembling finger as it pointed at the door only affirmed that there is danger inside.
But the soldiers were wrapped in arrogance and power. Their conviction that they are better than mainland soldiers stemmed from... nothing.
With determination, they flowed into the door and rushed to the lowest floor where the storerooms were. Only a handful of soldiers remained on the walls.
However, cries and shouts emerged from the depth and panic enveloped those who didn't dare to rush inside. A dozen seconds later, they could clear intelligible words from the darkness.
"MOVE!!"
Two soldiers walked to the door of the stairs and peeked inside. There was certain brightness at the other end of the stair and they could see the outline of a person rushing upwards. He was the source of the voice.
