The whole morning, the convoy wandered through three more villages and finally returned Bapshire by noon. There were a few beasts lurking in the forest but they never came nearby the convoy.
This intrigued Adam.
"There's forest and then there are beasts. But why are they all low-level ones!?"
It wasn't any difficult for Adam to discern the magnitude of ferocity and the killing intent in the beasts. When these children of nature paused to inspect the convoy, that cluster of seconds was enough for the earthling.
To his surprise, none surpassed the grade of the Scarlet Scaled Tigers. It was as if they are the pinnacle predators of the land.
Adam took a mental note on this anomaly as the carriage trotted towards Bapshire. He didn't forget to label it as a priority.
