Watching this, the elf trio was alarmed and had already pulled out their daggers but Adam didn't. "Look at those trees," he said while pointing to his right.
The crowd turned their attention and saw a group of trees uprooted and broken amind the trunk. There was a certain sense of brutality in those scenarios.
"This was done by a beast and it probably went that way. A ruthless predator, to be more accurate."
Adam gave his evaluation and the group observed the claw marks and concluded similarly.
"But there are no beasts in the vicinity that could do so. I'm positive about it." Monison expressed.
"You might be right. But now, there is one." The young man spoke and then turned around to walk to his carriage. "Why don't we leave the spot as soon as possible before other beasts come sniffing the scent?"
