The voice had a particular ring conveying the origin from a distance, so Adam stood up and dusted his dress as he turned around. About a football court distance away, there was one beast standing, peeking from behind the rocks.
Adam had the urge to laugh because as the beast tried to hide its presence, its dark-caramel coloured twin horns poking upward gave away its presence. The faint growling which was produced as a by-product of its enraged breathing also helped to locate the beast.
The sun disappeared behind the mountain and the darkness was corroding the world. The shade in which Adam sat gradually became darker.
Spreading the perception around, the earthling identified the beast hiding behind the stone as a hybrid between a dog and a bison. The subtle increase in the killing intent was easily picked up by him.
