Adam wasn't expecting a detailed explanation and what she spoke was what he sought. Thanking the receptionist, he turned around and walked to exit the building.
"Brother, what quest did you take?"
Some of the applicants who acquired friendly terms with Adam approached him. To their query, he showed them his quest paper.
"That's great! We too are heading to the west side of the city." One of them chirped in delight and Adam was amused. "Really? What quests did you choose?"
As they walked out of the Guild building, the fellows gave a brief account of their quests. Adam listened to them and concluded that their quests are herb collection and tasks to shoo the beasts away from the vicinity.
"Brother, would you like to join us for lunch?"
Uh... what?
Adam looked at the dwarf girl for a moment before realising the burning sun hanging above their heads.
Ah, it's noon already.
"Maybe later," he replied after raising the quest paper.
