Hearing the announcement, the pin-drop silence of the hall was crushed and whispering and murmuring broke out. It took all a while to get back on track and things were smooth since then.
The wanna-be adventurers quickly grabbed their belongings and paced to the aforementioned assessment arena. Noticing that Adam too went with the queue, a portion of people were intrigued by what this guy could offer as entertainment. Some left their teammates to watch the match whereas a few parties totally repositioned themselves to the seats of the arena.
Unlike the grand amphitheatres and luxurious stadiums, the arena was small and crudely constructed. The centre portion of the oval-shaped arena was only as large as a badminton court and the seats were paved bricks alone.
The applicants occupied a seat scattered throughout the arena and the audience too found a spot to spectate.
