Adam sat up as someone knocked on his door like a maniac. Almost cursing out, he got out of the bed and walked to the door while yawning.
The door was unlocked and a familiar face was standing outside. "Hello," the girl spoke with a cheery smile.
Hmm?
Noticing that the illumination from behind him is natural and is not casting a shadow on her, he realised that it was morning already.
"What is it?" Shaking the sleepiness, Adam probed.
"You are going to Teron, right? A carriage just arrived and dropped off some adventurers on a quest. The carriage will leave in half an hour, so if you want a ride, you could get one for a few silver."
Adam's brows rose instantly but relaxed upon realising something. "Thank you, but I'm not in a hurry. I think I'll walk from here."
