"So... Many... Humans in the village. Now we live with humans?" Tarzul said as he returned to the Orc Village with four other Orc Warriors he's leading. They were dragging two wooden carts. One is filled with the corpses of Scale Workers, while the other cart had two Scale Champions taking up all the space.
"Tarzul has come back! The strongest Orc Warrior of our village, Tarzul, has come back!" a few young Orc Craftsmen immediately announced it everywhere around the village. It causes everyone living in the settlement to greets the five warriors as they make their way to Cullen Azog's residence.
They're looking surprisingly at the corpse of Scale Champion inside one of the carts.
"That's the creature! Our village was destroyed by that creature! I remember the arrow wound on the neck!" one of the human females shouted as she threw a stone at the dead corpses. Hatred is seen all over her eyes while remembering how her father was mauled by this creature.
From one person to two, more and more humans participate. It might look weird from the orc's perspective, but that's because of the differences in the sentimental value from two different race's perspectives.
'Good... Keep it up.' Rosie Cullen smiled as she peeked through the gap from her room's window. From her expression, she was delighted to see such a reaction from the human settlers under her care.
As for the five ogre females, they're just like the orcs. Clueless expression is on their face as they had no idea if they should follow their action or remained quiet in a secluded corner. A hint of fear is still lingering in their eyes as they're currently the only race with the smallest number inside this settlement.
"Elder." Tarzul greets the Orc Tanker Veteran the moment they arrived at Cullen Azog's residence. His appearance of having longer arms than the other Orc Warriors and wider palm made the elder questioned what he's witnessing.
'When did this orc grow? And why did he had such a bizarre thing happened to him?' the elder thought.
"Grun-Thar... Good job, Tarzul. Leave the cart to us. Craftsmen, bring the material inside. The others shall return to continue what you're doing. There will be a feast tonight to celebrate Tarzul's victory." said the elder.
"Girls that are good with cooking should come and look for me. I'll need your help to prepare the feast with me. As for the others, feel free to approach me after tonight to share with me what you're good with. I'm sure that we can get something suitable for you to do." Rosie Cullen came out from the house and continued.
It was weird that her gentle voice seems to reach everyone's ears. But as it was not a battlefield, nobody questioned the reason why such a bizarre thing happened.
The crowd later dwindled as everyone returned to their place.
"Tarzul, come in with me to meet our Chieftain." Elder Roas said as he nodded at Rosie Cullen before taking Tarzul along with him. The mother of their Chieftain answered them with a smile as she let them walked past her.
'Now... Shall I start what my child asks me to do?' Rosie Cullen left to finish something in her mind.
...
...
...
"Chieftain," Tarzul kneeled before Cullen Azog. His extended arms made his posture seems awkward as it became difficult for his head to reach the ground now.
"Did you went through a maturing passage?" Cullen Azog asked with a smile on his face. He was already seated on his Chieftain's Throne waiting for Tarzul when the Orc Warrior stepped inside the village.
To Cullen Azog, Tarzul's return is like an announcement in his mind because of the disturbance in the Psychic Weave.
"Yes, Cullen... No, Chieftain." Tarzul quickly changed his way of addressing Cullen Azog as he replied.
"It alright. There are only three of us here." Cullen Azog waved his hand to show that such a manner of speaking is not needed between them.
"Tell me the situation on the battlefield." Cullen Azog grabbed the fruit from a table beside his seat and tossed it over to Tarzul so he can moisten his throat from the long journey home. He repeated the same action for Elder Roas as they sat comfortably before speaking.
"The battlefield... Feels different." although matured, Tarzul is evidently still having a communication problem in describing his thought using words. Perhaps this is why they're thrown away by the Supreme King's armada after birth.
"Oh? Why would you say so? Did the number of abomination soldiers keep growing?" Cullen Azog asked.
"Yes. I think stronger Scale Creatures will soon appear in their ranks. Lately, some of our human friends saw a few variants of Scale Creature running around." Tarzul replied. A hint of worry is clearly written on his face.
Based on the differences in strength, having a single orc warrior against a hundred Scale Workers is nothing but an easy task.
But it was a notch harder when it comes to Scale Champion. At least two to three Orc Warriors are needed for them to face one champion. This means the Scale Champion is likely a leading figure in the abomination soldiers.
With such a broad difference, a restructuring process is bound to happen. At that time, more variables are bound to transpire on the battlefield. And in Tarzul's personal opinion, the Hive likely will get stronger after they completed their restructuring process.
The three of them continue with their discussion. Once in a while, the conversation will touch a little about the Exalt Force.
In the meanwhile, Rosie Cullen was in a meeting with the five ogre women. They were seated by the round table as they listened carefully to what this human woman has to say.
"We... We don't understand..." one of the female ogres replied.
"Then, I shall revise the way I speak. I want the five of you to conceive my child's offspring. If I'm not mistaken, the ogres are well known for their short conceiving period, correct?" Rosie Cullen asked.
"Why - Why would you ask us about this?" another female ogre asked.
"Why? Because if you want the orc to protects your kind, then this is the price you'll have to pay. In exchange, I'll promise that I will not mistreat all of you. Do you agree?" Rosie Cullen continued.
"We..." the five female ogres looked at one another... It was a difficult decision for them to make. But they eventually nodded in exchange for a much better treatment here in this village.
