[11:30 PM]
A young man with thin a physique widely yawned with his sleepy eyes after he took off the VR helmet.
He then slowly stretched his arms and saw a wall clock next to his door. He figured out that he was non-stop playing for 13 hours. He placed the VR helmet on the top of his pillow, while barely bit the bottom of his lip.
"Damn, that woman grr... Why I didn't notice that? Also why she needed to use me?" Yumiro angrily uttered to himself.
He had an idea that he becomes modest after meeting the elves. The non-human creatures who straight forward no reinventing the wheel.
In his mind, thinking and caring was just a hallucination since he knew no matter how good you show to them they could betray anyone as greediness always leads to their decision.
Brr!
His stomach growled as Yumiro felt he was hungry, however, he was too lazy to stand up. Also scared if he ate too much he probably could have a nightmare attack. So to forget he was hungry, he draws his attention to the other by using his smartphone beside him.
This was what he usually did when he couldn't sleep. A mild light beamed his eyes, and Yumiro clicked one of the social platforms, then scrolled down a bit. Looking for interesting content that came from the different popular creators in the real world also known as the Earth.
While he had sleepy eyes, Yumiro was shocked when he saw his image and a new news article about him.
"What is the meaning of this? KS specialist what's that?" He asked himself after seeing thousand of the angry emoticon in that article.
He immediately taps the comment section to have a clue what was the meaning of KS specialists in the VR world. But he had an idea that the article was not good for him.
'Haha no secret that can't reveal'
'KS specialist? You didn't shame yourself? Now, we already know that you just kill steal the hidden quest to become popular.'
'Now we knew, how you become a celebrity in an instant, I hope the system will punish Grim Draigh account.'
Yumiro was extremely stunned as he saw the false information of his character and all of the side harsh comments.
His eyebrows were barely lifted thinking how he could introduce Grim Draigh to his little sister if all the adventurers were mad at him.
"Who made this?" He asked himself, but he didn't care too much. His main problem, he needed to postpone again to reveal his identity as he knew Amiya wouldn't be happy when she saw her brother was unified by the harsh comment of the adventurer.
He patted his head all over, confused what the best way to fix this problem. "I'm thinking too much," He took a deep breath time as he wanted to clear his mind.
"Shh..." He slowly opened his eyes, wondered where was Amiya right now. So he hops onto his wheelchair then he got out of his room.
Since he wasn't able to take upstairs, he just listening to the sound to clarify if Amiya came back home.
The place was encircled by deafening silence, he was worried as Amiya never forget to come to his room even she was tired.
"Amiya?! Amiya?!" He yelled in the dark place, but no one responds to his words. Amiya always hurried every time she heard Yumiro's voice.
"Where are you, Amiya?" He said with a weak tone, thinking about the good things scenario to calm his mind, but never couldn't erase the other bad stuff that might be happening.
He could not think properly, so he took off to his wheelchair without making any second thought. In his mind, the best way to reach the next floor was to crawl up even it was really hard for his condition.
In the last past 4 years, this was the first time again that he could come back again to the 2nd floor.
The stairs have needed 20 steps before he could reach the platform. Yumiro straight forward his hands, and tightly embrace the metal railings. He then forcefully lifted his body little by little although his arms were numbed since he carried his body for 45 seconds still, encouraged himself to climb up.
His palms moist after holding the metal railings for too long, so it was the main reason why it becomes slippery.
The stairs were not long, actually, it just had 12 meters distance, but pulling your body will eat a lot of time, also his strength.
"Amiya! Amiya!" He panicked yelled because might his head could whack to the ground, and there was a chance it could be the reason to have a new illness.
He looked up thinking to loosen his grasp, but he realised Amiya was suffered in early of his age he didn't want to add more. So he forcefully lifted his legs to fit in one step since his legs right now were thin so they could barely be positioned.
He reclined his back on the railings while shaking his arms to remove the intense numbness that he felt.
Yumiro deeply sighed of relief. 5 minutes had passed almost half of his strength was recovered. "I need to do it, my parents tch!" He was literally angry when he remembered the face of his parents.
"Amiya," He kept calling her name while slowly crawling up, but until he reached the place still no one answered back at him.
In his front, 11 meters away Yumiro saw Amiya's room, where the door was barely opened and white light passes into it.
He was hoping Amiya was there because if he found out she wasn't there Yumiro couldn't back in the ground since he knew if he does that the gravity will push him down.
He reached the door, so peeked onto it to see Amiya, but just the poster of anime he could see and the bed edges.
Tok!
Yumiro knocked three times awaited a response, but he didn't hear anything so he forcefully opened and it slapped to the wall.
"What's that?!" A black-haired woman wore a white dress suddenly screamed.
But Yumiro smile seeing his little sister was fine and safely come home. Also found out why Amiya couldn't hear since she was hearing headphone while sleeping.
"Brother Yumiro, how you come up here? You know it's dangerous." She hastily said, seeing his brother was full of dust plastered on his body.
"I'm sorry, Amiya, I didn't see you all day, so I'm worried that you still not coming home." Yumiro apologized.
Amiya sighed as his brother was sweet to him and always want to see her. She deeply sighed while patting Yumiro shirt to remove all the dust.
"Haist, brother, you know that you already have weak bones. One mistake might your upper body will be affected."
"I know, but... You're my only family."
"I understand brother, but your condition that we are talking about." She took a deep breath as she doesn't want to dishearten her brother with her words. "Just wait, brother Yumiro, when I come back in the VR world, I'll sell all my items then I'll try to renovate the stairs, so you can visit me here anytime."
Yumiro suddenly silent, seeing the PC screen that there was an article about Grim Drain. It seemed Amiya already knew what was the news.
He zips his mouth, miserable as he thought his sister would be happy when she knew Yumiro was the adventurer a lot of company were looking for.
'Sorry, Amiya, I just need to fix my problem." He uttered to his mind. "Sorry again, Amiya, for disturbing your time that you can rest, but can you assist me downstairs so I can back in my room?"
Amiya willingly nodded, but she had sleepy eyes so she suggested something. "Brother Yumiro, why do you sleep in my bed, so we can have early breakfast tomorrow?"
"Really, it's that okay?" Yumiro cheerfully replied.
"Of course, did you remembered this is always what we usually did when we are little," Amiya said while pulling her brother on his bed.
Yumiro nodded, "Yes, you're right." He replied felt his head was laid on the soft pillow where he could smell the scents of his sister.
Click!
Amiya turned off the lights, and also laid on the bed. "It's already midnight, Goodnight brother Yumiro." She said then face in the other direction.
"Goodnight Amiya, I promise that I'll give you a new life." He said with a weak tone while having a big smile on his face.
