Chapter 47 - Greedy Adventurers

Yumiro was savvy that Roshy could give all the information he needed from this game. To be simple, Roshy will just enlighten him from this world.

"Tell me, where did you drop your weapon." He said and never touched his mind to log out from the game.

"Grim, are you even listening? I said, someone took away my weapon from me." Roshy replied while noticing her strength was restored little by little. It looked like, the deer meat given by Grim. Which helped to boost your stamina regeneration.

"Eh? Who's the adventurer who made it?" He already had an idea of what Roshy trying to say, and it caught his attention.

"I-It's Uzui and his recent party members." She said with trembled lips and added. "G-Grim, they're the type of adventurers who would like to kill another adventurer just to get the valuable weapon and their penny."

Yumiro chortled at her a bit, and Roshy seemed didn't like his response. "Why are you laughing, Grim huh?! There's something funny with my situations?" She frowned her brows and tried to move closer to him, but she stopped as he remembered Grim was a picky guy.

In his mind, there was something wrong with him when he saw the blue-haired man (Uzui), but he couldn't know how'll explain it. Aside from that, he was perplexed as to why he wanted to join another party after they had already rescued him from the Paraganda fish?

"Yes, it's funny because you continually trust people without knowing their ulterior motive." He chuckled again, puzzled as to why Uzui was forced to act in such a manner.

Every adventurer had a unique playing approach or, to put it another way, a unique gameplay. To assist them in surviving in the virtual world. There were good and bad adventurers, but their journeys were determined by what they chose.

Roshy dropped her head in disappointment, regretting that she had never heeded Yumiro's advice. She had forgotten that the man in front of her possessed a high level of mental fortitude, which enabled him to escape risky circumstances. "I-I confess my errors, but listen to me explain why I succumb to their subtle ploys." Her voice was a little hushed as she struggled to reclaim everything that had been taken from her.

He scoffed and demanded to know the whole story about the incident. Furthermore, to get a sense of their potential opponents' abilities. "All right, tell the story; I simply need to hear something."

Roshy reclined against the cave wall and gazed up at the stars. She took a big breath before spitting her story, which helped her remember all of the events.

"I told Uzui that we needed to follow you into the Lynx Dungeon the day you left. Our main goal at the time was to demonstrate how difficult it is to embark on a solo expedition. We want you to struggle and call for assistance, but our plan won't work because you mysteriously vanished from our sight. Then we found out you completed the hidden quest on your own... I wish I could have been there..." She began to speak, but she came to a halt when Yumiro interrupted her story.

"No, that's not the tale I'm looking for; you're just telling me that you're sorry for something that happened when we were separated. All I need are the specifics; I don't want to hear your nonsense, and I'm not here to waste my time." Yumiro stated that he was anxious to reach a certain level so that he may join the guild afterward.

"I'm sorry, Grim, but this is the beginning of my story." Roshy replied, her eyes teary as if she was used to doing this.

"Okay, okay, starts your story."

"We tried to wait for you there after you vanished, but you did not appear." So Uzui went into the forest in search of the small creatures that would be added to our levels. As a result, a member of his party appeared out of nowhere. Uzui pretended not to want to contact with them at first, but after Worishi whispered some words, Uzui's aura shifted and began to move abnormally.

"What kind of words did he murmur? Is it audible?" Yumiro inquired with a low tone.

"I don't have any suggestions; I never got the opportunity to ask." She replied, then went on to tell her experience after seeing Grim nod and appear content with her response. "Uzui introduced them everyone, starting with Karone, their primary tank. He possessed an incredible vigor that allowed him to withstand any physical harm. Worishi, the second member, is a priest who, as you can see, is a supporter. Outside, she appears soft, but don't be fooled by her appearance. Syru, a middle-aged guy from the fighting class, is the third member. Garage, the fourth and, in my opinion, the most powerful member of the group, is a female assassin." After Roshy had finished introducing the Uzui party's members. She began to vomit out why she was covered with bruises all over her body.

"They recommend staying in the VR world the first night, and then Karone recommends going inside the tunnel, where you can encounter a variety of monsters. We kept winning every time we faced powerful creatures because their attacks were well-coordinated, as if they were born to work together. Furthermore, we arrived at the destination and discovered a golden treasure glowing in the darkness. We rejoiced because we knew the chest contained a valuable item and enough gold to purchase a large number of weapons."

"I know what she's trying to say, but I let her finish her words," Yumiro uttered to his mind.

"We were overjoyed when we discovered a one-skill scroll. Because there was only one item, I recommend selling it so that others can profit from it. But they came to a halt when they heard my comments, nodding to each other as if they understood what I was saying. I felt strange, but Uzui calmed me down as he took plenties of golds from the treasure chest. I assumed he would give the gold, but what happened next surprised me. My body was zapped by his violet magic, which he performed on his grimoire. I collapsed to the ground, perplexed as to why they were acting in this manner; additionally, the middle-aged man Syru stabbed me in the abdomen and continued to launch a vicious attack, forcing me to retreat. I tried my hardest, but Uzui used binding magic to keep me from struggling. I knew it was the end of my VR career when they took all of my weapons and monster core. I was isolated from them until the tunnel collapsed and a massive boulder landed exactly in my place. I used to run till my strength was depleted, then I would come across you."

Then Yumiro took a step forward, as he felt the same way Drake did when he savagely assaulted him. He made hands into his fists as he resolved to avenge the adventurer who had no regard for others. "If we take back your weapon, I can obtain the scroll and the golds," he said, but his face was expressionless.

Roshy gave him a nasty smirk as she nodded. "Yes, you may have whatever you want; all I have to do now is claim my belongings." She stood up as soon as she thought her power had returned.

"If this is the case, your request is deserving of being fulfilled. What exactly are you up to?" He inquired.

"We're on our way to let them know the truth."

Yumiro lied down to demonstrate that he was not going anywhere. "Is that your strategy? We had no chance of winning if we rushed them, stupid." He said it in a slightly higher tone.

"We don't need a strategy; you already have a powerful Zexel, right? Aside from that, you finish the hidden mission, which indicates that with your current ability, those adventurers are just like an ant with you"

With a skeptic's face, he sneered. "Never." He laughed. "You didn't see how I'll never combat your pointless thinking? You always lose and fail, and aside from that, we've agreed that I'll be the one to call the shots."

Roshy sighed thoughtfully. "I forgot, I'm sorry. However, we have..."

"Shh!" He put his index finger to his lips to prevent Roshy from speaking, as he could hear something 20 meters away. "Let me, we can wit them," He said. "But first, be quiet, there's a creature."

Yumiro was taken aback when he spotted something on his function that matched Roshy's current expression.
