Chapter 23 - LGfM 23 Feeling Sick

In Petra's life, this was the first time she had heard of something related to the invisible world. Spiritualism and the like, as Steven explained to him. However, still Petra could not understand why she had to go through it.

It wasn't fear that Petra was feeling. More like shocking disbelief at heresy and the like. However, putting that aside, Petra met Ken and talked to him like just hanging out with an ordinary human.

"Then, before it's even seventeen, what will Ken look like?" annoyed Petra, full of curiosity.

"You are quite interested. Before taking on the assignment in Arca Mestonia National Park, little Ken was still a container. That means Ken is still human like us. Living like us, school and so on. Until finally Ken is old enough, his original form is formed. Namely in the form, you saw yesterday. " said Steven staring at Petra who was still shrouded in confusion.

"So ... Ken is a fairy or an angel?" Petra asked angrily to herself.

"Not both. But you can define the fault of one of them. They exist. And because of them, Mestonia, the country we live in, until now they are still safe and peaceful without any fear of any threat or disaster." said Steven calmly.

"Then..."

"My knowledge is just getting there, Petra," Steven replied hastily. If Steven didn't say it like that then Petra would continue to bombard himself with all kinds of deeper questions that he potentially couldn't answer.

"Wait a minute. I don't mean like that, then why do you know my relationship with Ken? And can you also see Ken?" Petra's grapefruit didn't like being cut off.

"Oh ... at that time I was researching Finelan with some of my cousins. And unexpectedly I saw you talking to yourself like crazy. Daydreaming about Snow Prince or something. So now you know my answer if I or anyone else can't see Ken. Unless Ken himself wanted to be seen by the people he wanted. " explained Steven.

The young man then pressed one of his temples slowly. Form a circular motion, massage slowly. You can see that Steven is getting tired of answering Petra's endless questions.

"Fine, fine. Up to this second, I'm starting to understand it. Or at least I'm trying to understand. Even if my wits reject it all. It's ridiculous, Stev." grumbled Petra scratching the back of his head, which didn't itch.

"Of course. You have the right to do that. I'm not forcing you to believe." said Steven, grimacing to himself. Amazed by the smart but ignorant girl in front of him.

"By the way, why are you in Upenina?" Petra investigated a distraction from Steven's annoyed glare.

"None of your business. Anyway, the research for my year-end paper has gone awry over having to accompany you." Steven grunted mockingly.

With a big smile like someone who suddenly got the lottery, Petra believes that Steven feels grateful to be able to escape from the group of the third class who came to research the final year assignment.

"Really. I didn't ask you to come anyway," argued Petra, also pretending to be annoyed.

"You are sure?" Steven teased.

"Of course. There are lots of nurses and doctors here. After all, auntie will come tomorrow anyway." said Petra, lying.

Of course, Petra did not dare to tell Mia's aunt about her being injured and lying in the Upenina hospital. Petra didn't want to worry her family in Finelan and left everything just to keep her company.

-

Petra was just able to close his eyes after Steven's departure a few minutes ago. However, the noise from outside the bedroom door made him open his eyes again. Surprisingly, Petra could effortlessly find out who the troublemaker was.

Lyon came with a bouquet of white roses. Walk wide towards Petra and put the flower bouquet on the small table beside the bed. Lyon was silent, looking at Petra meaningfully.

Petra felt very uncomfortable being stared at with such a sharp gaze by Lyon. Even the cold-faced young man didn't open his mouth immediately.

"Why are you here?" said Petra, turning Lyon's gaze from the cast that wrapped his left hand to Petra's face.

"Of course visiting girlfriends. What kind of lover am I who doesn't care when his soulmate is lying alone in the hospital." Lyon sneered in his usual cold tone. Like when Petra did not follow his orders properly.

"Thank you for the concern. But sorry, your false sympathy is completely useless. All I need right now is sleep. So go away." exorcise Petra gently.

Petra pulls the blanket over his head and wishes Lyon soon moved from the room.

"You think you can get away with it. What about the reports? Who am I going to class with? Not to mention that the archery competition you have to take is not short enough practice. So why did you cut your hand? Are you doing it on purpose to mock me?" grumbled Lyon furiously.

"So do you think I'm also happy if five hours ago I just had a real operation on my hand? Do you think I don't have to do that? Why do I have to do something silly by injuring my precious hand?" blurted Petra, not wanting to lose.

It seemed that Petra's emotions were getting out of control since her conversation with Steven earlier. Coupled with the arrival of Lyon, which seemed to add oil on the embers of Petra's anger.

"I see. So you did fall from the second floor of the music building?" investigated Lyon, who now his voice had softened.

"Yes," Petra replied shortly.

"My question is how did you get lost from the group to the music building? The two buildings are opposite each other. Can you explain your reasons?" said Lyon did not want to just give in.

Even though Lyon's voice was soft, unlike at the beginning of his arrival, his face still tried to say something else.

"Looks like that ... I forgot what I did because I fell earlier. Since when did a lost person need an excuse?" said Petra in return.

"You rascal. Don't ever make jokes to people who are worrying about you, you know!" young Lyon frustrated.

"Did I hear you right? Are you worried?" corrected Petra couldn't believe what she had just heard.

"Why it can not?" defend Lyon, pretending not to care.

"It's fine. As long as you want to leave me alone now. I'm so sleepy." said Petra, yawning unconsciously in front of Lyon.

"Next time keep your manners. It's not good to yawn like that in front of other people. I forbid it. Don't do it again, okay!" Lyon said, then left Petra by slightly slamming the door.

Petra could only shake his head at Lyon's behavior which he behaved disrespectfully in front of him. Or maybe, Petra is on the list of people who shouldn't be treated politely?
