Tom's mother figure looked much weaker in just a few minutes after the demon had done something to her. Because no one knew what had happened except the devil himself and Tom's mother.
In the next second their eyes met. There was a clear look of disbelief in Tom's mother's eyes. Staring straight at Tom intently. From him, there were millions of letters that he could not say through his mouth.
"I'm not your mother, Tom." whispered the woman who was supposed to be Tom's mother. His voice was too low to reach where Petra and Minni were standing.
In his place, Tom just stood still. He didn't believe what she was saying. The woman who was supposed to be his biological mother. But apparently, that fact was rejected by the middle-aged woman who was half lying in front of Tom.
