"Join my guild, Chris. I will help you for the bureaucracy part. Besides, Hora is my father's guild countess as well. " Elea said so while she helped Lein to restore her composure after she had healed herself.
Elea sat on the left side of Lein as the bed was big enough for four people dwelling in it. Thus, she explained.
"There are three ways to enter the guild. You were first getting the Magus Certificate from the institute. Second, through recommendation or third. You are entering the dark guild."
"I would opt out the option to enter the dark guild."
"We will stop you if you are opting that!" Both Elea and Lein yelled at him simultaneously as both of them looked at him with an unamused glare.
In the meantime, Chris reminisced himself in his old days.
It was an exact place and time where both of them stated the same. Thus, Chris muttered in his mind,
'If I was following the advice you suggested back then. Then I don't think that I will end to meet the demise. This time, let me follow your advice for once. One was my wife, and another one was my most loyal servant ever.'
Thus, he asked both of them with a smile drawn on his face,
"I don't have the Magus License right now. So, how can I enter the guild?"
Lein grabbed his hands, causing him to had a tomato-colored face. At the same time, she explained to him.
"I can recommend you in!"
He knew that it was possible. But, he wasn't the Ancient Magus in his past life who could quickly enter any guild without a problem. Instead, he was nobody for now.
So, it was not only about becoming a top. It was neither about becoming someone to satisfy Chris's vengeance desire as well. But it was all about the bureaucracy, which was a whole different story if he was still the Ancient Magus.
'Politic does help a lot.' Chris sighed when he had realized about it. At the same time, he felt that his feud with the gang who killed him in his past life wasn't related to them. So, he stated to the ladies.
"I've appreciated the fact that you guys are willing to help me. But, can I use the proper way to enter the guild?"
"Proper way?" Elea questioned him when he had stated so. Thus, Chris moved from his bed, stepping his foot on the ground, standing and looking at them as he explained,
"Proper way means that I need to undergo some test. Let's say, physical test, magic test, and so on."
Elea was a realistic lady when it comes to everything. Thus, she commented at him,
"Then, you will end to become a rune knight instead."
"Hmm…" Chris replied with a confusing expression. In the meantime, she explained to him.
"I heard from the institute that they want to drop you out from the institute. Then, enlisting you as the soldier in the Knight division."
'Knight division… If I'm entering that division. I would be only become a shame of the family since I will end to become that bitch…'
"ARRGH!!"
For once again, Chris experienced an immense pain as he had remembered himself to the woman who told him,
'Kill that woman, Chris. I will help you to gain everything you want.'
'Just do the favor for me!'
'I will give you everything!'
He gripped his head again in a painful expression yet shrieking.
"Not this pain again!" Chris yelled into an agonizing tone as the painful feeling running amok in his head had come in.
In the meantime, he was trying to stay awake as the painful feeling had to steal his awareness slowly, but sure.
"Chris!! Look at me!" Elea pulled his hand out from his horns, grabbing his hand in a serious stare as she forced the man to stare at the lady. But at the same time, she was shocked as well as she had seen her partner,
"His nerve damage is worsening…" It was the only words she can mutter out from her mouth.
She had seen his right eye that bled, bled as if it was a cry. In the meantime, it was something that was looking eerie, eerie enough to led Elea to say.
"I have to bring you to my family's health facility now! It's a severe level of vertigo, Chris! What the hell had happened to you?"
"I thought that…" Lein tried to explain to Elea. But, she was going outburst as she yelled at her.
"YOU ARE HIS SERVANT, AND YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT HE HAD THIS ILLNESS? YOU KNOW HOW FATAL IS THIS WHEN THIS ILLNESS IS GETTING WORSE?"
"Apologizes!" Lein knelt right away after Elea had yelled her so. Thus, Elea looked at Chris in a stern expression.
"Our families are allies. Suppose you don't want to go to your family's health care facility. Then go for us. I will guarantee your secrecy there!" Elea explained to him in a persuading tone. But at the same time, Chris replied to her.
"There is no need for this. Don't scold Elea as well. She did nothing wrong. It just me, the one who hid this thing to her."
"But… Chris, let me …"
He shook his head, moving her hand away. Thus, he walked towards the lady who knelt in fear, raising her, who seems to cry.
"I'm a useless servant, Chris. You may punish me if you can!"
Chris shook his head as he knew that the lady would say that. He cheered her,
"You are doing nothing wrong, Lein. Rather, you had done everything that I couldn't do. If my illness was not a thing that you could heal, then let it be. But, don't sell yourself cheap like this, can you?"
"But…"
"You have to punish her, Chris!"
"Silence! It's my family issue!" He yelled at Elea back. Understanding those, she moved her eyeglasses, moving around, and left the room.
