Vega POV
When Griffin told us to leave it really showed me a little bit more to Kora. I guess there's always more to what meets the eye.
We get back to the pool and go sit with our friends.
"So what happened? Where are they?" Kenny asks.
"They're talking, they're sorting things out."
"By themselves?! They'll kill each other!" Theo says as he gets up.
Jason stops him.
"Trust me, they won't. They're actually talking." he tells them and they look at each other.
And as if on cue, they both arrived Kora still with her tear stained face.
"Alright hoes, we came to party so let's party." she says and Lance turns the music up.
We stay there for a couple more hours and before deciding to stay the night.
Karter, Jason and Amara left to go get our things.
I took this as an opportunity to go talk to Kora and I guess Lee had the same idea cause she ended up joining me.
We both knock on her door at the same time.
She opens and let's us in.
"What's up guys? You need anything?" she asks as we talk a seat on the bed.
"We came to talk to you about what happened."
"Me and Griffin sorted it out, we're fine now."
"We're not talking about you and her." I tell her.
"Then what?"
"We came to talk to you about you."
"What about? I'm fine." she says.
"No, you're not. I was behind the door I heard what you said."
"What does it matter? As long as i don't jeopardize any missions or accidently try killing you guys then that's all that matters."
"Come on, that's not the only thing that matters." Lee says getting up and going to her.
"We care about you and your well being. That's why we're here, the mission isn't our priority right now." Lee tells her.
Kora POV
After she said that I started tearing up.
"We care Kora, we know you're not okay. Talk to us, we're here."
Thats when it came. All the water works.
"I-I just want to live." I manage to say and I drop to my knees.
They come towards me and comfort me.
"I'm tired of trying to please everyone. I'm tired of living for everyone else's expectations. I'm tired of feeling like an alien in my own body, I just want to live and be me."
Griffin POV
I guess I'll have to face
After they dropped our clothes off, Boss sent me a text telling him to meet him at Hq.
That in this awful place
When I arrived he debriefed me on a new mission. I had to take down one of the Bad Blood members I checked the file and it's Layla.
He gave me the coordinates and I left for my weapons and to change.
I shouldn't show a trace of doubt
When I arrived, at her whereabouts I went to the building directly opposite and climbed on the roof to get a better angle.
But pulled against the grain
It was a party at a club. I wait for for her to exit and be alone before I take out my De Lisle Commando.
I feel a little pain
Considering how drunk she was, this was going to be easy, she was walking to her car that was parked near surprise surprise an alley.

And she's down. They'll probably have her body gone before the morning and no one heard anything over the music so I'm clear.

My job is done. I call Boss and tell him I've completed it. He congratulates me and I drive back to Theo's.

That's when they'll come for us.
Vega POV
I knew something was up, but I didn't know it was this.
"Hey, we're here okay. It's okay, let it all out. Your perfect doesn't have to our perfect."
I tell her as she sobs in our arms and we rock her to calm her down.
After 15 minutes she falls asleep and we put her on her bed. We switch her lights off and leave.
When we get back down we find everyone there. We'll mostly everyone someone's missing.
"What's up, you guys brought our clothes?"
They toss us our bags and I head up to talk a shower.
After that I take Kora's bag and leave it beside the bed with a note.
They brought our clothes, we'll see you downstairs.

After leaving the note I head to the kitchen to make a sandwich and find Theo.
"She good?" he asks.
"Yeah, she just needs some rest."
He nods his head and head for the living room.
"We're watching a movie if you want to join us." he tells me as he leaves.
Kora POV
I wake up in a dark room. I switch on the lamp and find a note.
After reading I take a shower and dig in my bag for my pj's. When I find them I head downstairs and find the guys in the living room.
"You want to join us?" Jason asks.
I nod and they beckon me over. I ended up sitting in between Lee and Vee, who were on the floor. Aria and Erin lying on the other couch
Jason and Theo were on the other couch with Amara and Taryn. Then Griffin, Kenny and Karter were sat on the one we were leaning on.
We were having a bad boys and rush hour marathon.
We all ended up passing out on the couch.
We all wake up around the same time, Griffin, Karter and Taryn make us breakfast while the rest of us put the blankets away or set the table up.
We spent the rest of the day doing our own things.
I went for a run with Lee, Amara and Vee were drawing, Karter and Kenny were outside. Theo and Jason were playing video games.
It was nice just to be normal for once you know, heaven knows we've needed it.
