What gentleness? I wondered to myself as I looked at the beautiful ornate golden walls, but what stood out the most was the Empress. Drenched in gold from her dress to the tips of her hair from the coronet that she wore, Charlotte Heliot was more aurate than the sun. The Emperor next to her was also extremely attractive with long white hair and deep hazel eyes that almost looked gold. It seemed she was the one that had grown drunk off that singular color.
Yet, there was nothing gentle about her.
