After getting settled in Skuld leaned up against the railings on the porch. Her hair danced in the wind as a familiar scent reached her. Smiling she calls out "You don't have to hide in the shadows!" Just as she said that Kevin walks out from behind the trees his golden hair shimmered as the sun hit it. As he walks up to her, her heart started to flutter . She knew in her heart that he was her mate, but something kept holding her back from fully accepting it. "Your senses are still sharp Princess." Kevin smiled showing his pearly whites his ocean blue eyes looking at her, she felt like he was looking into her soul. Shaking her head she fought the urge to jump into his arms and looked up at the sky " How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that" he chuckled as he stood near her and looked up at the sky with her. "You are my princess and that's how I shall always treat you." Skuld heart fluttered as he got closer but once the words left his lips a growl escaped hers. "I'm no princess, I left all that behind when I ran away. Nobody wants a leader that abandons them" as Skuld hung her head in shame Kevin wrapped his arms around her and patted her head. "They will want to follow again, just need some time to rebuild that trust again" shaking her head she steps away. She didn't want to get to close, she wasn't planning on staying much longer and didn't want to hurt him anymore then she already has. It seemed like Kevin read her mind as he cleared his throat "Fyn is waiting for you at the secret spot" Skuld hung her head 'I forgot about him' she thought to herself placing her face into her hands. She turned to face Kevin and could see the pain hidden in his features. "Thank you Kevin, if he doesn't kill me would you like to go for a run tonight?" As Kevin nodded she gave a quick smile and twirled around and slowly made her way to see her brother, taking in all the sights the forest had to offer.
