"Are you ready to get back to school?" Chloe asks me as I'm putting on my sneakers.
She's sitting beside me on the bed, swinging her leg around.
After two weeks of staying at home doing nothing, I was finally given the go ahead to go back to school.
I'm not sure I was fully ready to face everyone in school after what happened, but it isn't something I could avoid any longer.
Chloe's dad had asked me sometime last week if I wanted to change schools. I had thought about it, but remembered what the man I met said.
As long as I knew the truth, nothing else mattered.
So I told him it didn't matter.
"I'm not sure, but we shall see right?" I give her a small smile and she nods
Of course, there'll be stares and whispers. There will be rumors going around. But I'm still going to hold my head up high.
We both went downstairs, had breakfast, then walked to the garage.
