Casper was sitting on the bed and looking into space. He seemed to be a bit confused, but Rolvur interpreted it to be just because he was not used to wearing the masks.
He never wore off his mask in his entire life, but through science, he knew the sensation of pressure and limitation that people felt while wearing it. The citizens lived with that pressure since they were born, so it was something natural and imperceptible.
In Casper's case, he was always free, doing what he wanted to, and when he wanted. It was a different feeling.
