Alfar approached Casper hastily after he finished with his opponent. He cleaned his fingers in the gray, which were covered in blood.
When he reached the soldier, he spotted another guy, the one that Casper was fighting. The scene was just terrible, and he could not look at that without getting hard nausea.
"For Odin, Casper, what the heck did you do!?" He exclaimed, disgusted, avoiding looking at that impaled man.
"C'mon, it was his fault. I can't bring any better idea to fight someone who can regenerate with such speed." The White warrior was also finding that scene very grotesque but there was nothing he could do.
Now that Casper stopped to analyze Alfar, he noticed that the man couldn't look at the battles happening around at all. His skin was pale, and the soldier was sure that his face was even paler behind that mask.
Besides, Alfar seemed to be unscathed but was acting strangely, as if he was dizzy or something.
Casper didn't need to think much to know that that man was feeling nauseated.
Alfar was going to start walking in direction of Ragnar, however, Casper stopped him for a while, grabbing his arm.
"Hey, are you ok?"
The pitch-black-haired man looked to him with his dead eyes, bothered than ever, and just pulled his arm.
"That's not time to worry about me, Casper. We need to finish this quickly before this battle gets even more chaotic." His voice was sluggish, and he seemed about to puke.
The soldier wanted to talk more about that matter, but couldn't afford to lose more time.
He knew that the man hated battles and hurting people, but Casper had no idea that his new cellmate would be so sensitive about it.
Anyway, it was not time to surrender by the limitations. Casper was struggling to fulfill his limits there as well. If Alfar could bear that situation or not, was up to him, only.
"I am trusting on you, don't make me regret to have you by my side!" Casper followed him, but the man didn't respond.
They closed the distance between them and Ragnar. The man had just finished with one more prisoner, beating him brutally. The tattooed guy seemed to find kind of tedious what he was doing and looked to Casper and Alfar with sleepy eyes.
Both of them were approaching slowly the man. They were not in a rush, because they knew how dangerous that guy was.
"I wonder what kind of power this man has…? I need to…" Before Casper finished his line of thought and they could reach their enemy, the ground started to tremble, as if a giant was running somewhere.
Casper tried to just focus on Ragnar. He wasn't willing to avoid his gaze not even for a second.
"C-Casper, the left! It's coming from the left!" Alfar ran to the right.
The soldier thought that it was impossible because to the left there was only the canteen's wall… But his thought got cut when that wall exploded, throwing debris to all sides.
Casper dodged a great piece of concrete flying towards him.
Still concerned about Ragnar, he just glanced to the side to see what was going on near that destroyed wall, and the blood drained from his face.
"So… we meet again, huh? It's good to see you, man." He muttered, not knowing exactly if he wanted to shout from frustration or laugh because of the coincidence.
That Barbarian he had beat badly on his first day in the prison had been the bomb that exploded that wall. His right shoulder was bleeding hard, Probably that was the "battering ram" he used to destroy the wall.
"But… Did you exaggerate in the Whey protein? What the hell happened with your body?"
Differently from the first time, the barbarian wasn't just as big as a bodybuilder. He was two times stronger and big than before. The veins of his entire body were popping up.
The muscle hypertrophy he had was far from that of a normal human could have. It was just impossible to build a body like that naturally, or even using drugs.
"Dark zone…" He bit his lip. "His experiment has something to do with Super Hypertrophy."
The barbarian glanced at each person present in that canteen. His eyes stopped at Casper. His face went red, and more veins popped up in his face and arms. All his body was turning crimson. The man seemed about to explode at any time.
He inhaled deeply then let out a roar that shook the entire canteen.
"Holy crap…" That was all that Casper thought when that colossus gave chase on him.
At the same time, Ragnar rushed forward, taking the initiative to attack.
Both Casper and Alfar were shocked by how things turned out so suddenly, and they could not help but stop there for a moment to process the situation.
They looked at each other as if questioning what they should do at that moment.
Alfar seemed to be strong, but he had no battle experience compared to Casper. That is, he wasn't as good as him to make decisions in times of extreme pressure like that.
If the soldier couldn't lead the way there, his cellmate would be just confused. Everything was on Casper's shoulders now.
"I don't like the idea to fight with a human wrecking ball, but I got no choice here. Alfar is strong, but I don't know how much he is, and if it's enough to hold this giant there. Also, the guy is glazed on me, he will not let me go so easily." In a matter of seconds, Casper had this reasoning, and he knew what was the first step to do there.
The giant barbarian jumped from where he was, showing an explosive speed that was just as much high as Casper predicted. The floor cracked below his feet and his body burst towards the soldier.
The White warrior somersaulted to the side, avoiding the giant, that flew past him and smashed a bunch of tables and benches with his body, just stopping when he collided with the wall of the canteen's right side.
"Ok, that's for sure: if he gets me, I will die." Casper looked terrified for all the destruction that that barbarian made in his burst.
The soldier's heart started to beat so fast that it was even painful. His body barely could move properly. Casper was trying to look calm, but the truth was that he was almost panicking inside.
"Alfar! Take care of Ragnar, I will need to stick to this huge buddy here!"
Without responding, Alfar let his torpor aside and focused on the battle, shaking his head. Casper felt relieved by that sight. As long as he could maintain his mind in order, he would be able to handle Ragnar until Casper could go help.
After his cellmate clashed with the enemy, Casper drew his attention to that big guy standing among the destructed metallic tables. His body was still fevering with fury, and that collision seemed to have harmed him just slightly.
The Barbarian had almost 2,5 meters tall now. It was 75 cm above Casper's height. His shoulders were wide, and his muscles huge and stiff, to the point where a brown bear would seem skinny beside him.
Behind the mask, his eyes were glazed. He had no hair anymore as well.
"I don't know what they did to you, but I have the feeling that you wanted that they did so…
"Anyway, the way you are now, I am not strong enough to take care of you just with my strength. Unfortunately, I will need to find another way…"
After reasoning for some time, Casper had come up with an idea.
The Barbarian was already completely recovered, he looked at Casper again and was ready for another attack.
He began to run after Casper, his steps made the floor crack and sink.
Casper ran as well, to the opposite side. His speed could not match with that man, but he didn't need to.
He avoided every battle that was happening around, deviating from the crazy prisoners attacking each other like beasts. The brawls were as violent as ever.
The giant did not deviate. He slammed his body against each inmate that happened to appear in front of him.
The more that man ran, the faster he moved. His body was getting even redder as long as his speed and strength increased as well. He started to scream like crazy.
No one dared to stand next to that monster, that just for the run was vanishing the battlefield.
Casper skillfully was zigzagging through the fuss that it had turned. Circling the canteen in a crazy rush.
At the same time as he ran away from the Barbarian, he needed to deal with the obstacles, sliding, jumping and somersaulting.
"This crap of an ankle is decreasing my speed! Damn! I need more time! More time!"
In the middle of his sprint, someone tried to hit Casper. He dodged, but lost his balance, nearly falling to the ground. The giant was as close as never, and Casper could already feel his presence right behind him.
After he regained his balance and started to run steadily on his feet again, he faced the wall of the canteen… and realized that he had not the time to turn or stop.
