Casper looked towards the huge figure of the imposing Castle.
'Coming to think about it, it's been a long time since I don't look at it from afar. The last time when I really took a good look at it was on my first day here... After this, so many things happened, and I have been avoiding staring directly at this structure since we got basically kicked out from there. But now is different.'
He glanced at the white shield on his right arm. For some reason, the way it shone under the sunlight was something very soothing. He was not feeling anxious, nor apprehensive. Maybe that was an effect that the shield should have, or he just had that impression because it was a gift that Vick gave to him.
Either way, having that treasure with him made him feel safer and stronger.
