Vick was pondering for a while what she should do in relation to Casper. She had just two options, and both had their own advantages and disadvantages that she would need to deal with afterward.
"I don't want to lose control here… I am not willing to let Casper tie our battle here. However, do I have a way to overcome it? And what this guy will do once he meets the Forger? What he wants with one of the most powerful people of this district?"
The Princess needed to stop for a while, the soldier did the same, turning his body to her and staring at her face.
"You still have those injuries, right? Your reward for this should be my help. Also, I cleaned a good part of the mess you did here in your escape from Halden. You are in debt with me."
Casper denied with his head.
