The fight was over before it had even begun.

But his respect for Jake had not only doubled, he now saw him in an entirely different light.

The demon they could barely see it's movements was what Jake had cut down in a single strike.
Levi now understood the reason behind the confidence in his step earlier.
He knew he was capable of taking the demon solo, he didn't even need Levi's assistance.
This was a whole new Jake.
The duo retraced their steps back to the path where they had broke off from the rest.
Levi began to wonder how far Percy had led them, before they had discovered their absence.
Or if they had even discovered at all.
