"So, Oracus. What is this place?" Anna asked drawing out the name slowly as she called it.
"This is our base" Oracus replied.
"Base?" Levi cut in "What Base?" Levi asked before Anna had the opportunity to throw in her question
Who exactly were these kids and what did they want here, they were right in the middle of their base and they didn't even have the slightest idea of where they were. How the hell did there even get in here. Oracle thought
But he wasn't ready to piss Anna off and risk another cracking of his knees.
"This is the third base of His Eminence, The Great Emperor" Oracus answered his question as truthfully as he could.
Anna reeled back in shock at the mention of the Emperor, she was shocked to the marrow as was Levi. But what still baffled Levi was the lack of reaction on Jake's face whenever the Emperor's name was mentioned.
