Jake woke with a start, he could hear thuds and muffled grunts from the room next door.
His sleepy brain immediately processed what was happening, that was definitely Anna's room.
By now Levi had woken up too and jumped down from the bed, they both raced towards the door.
Jake flew into the corridor and smashed the door in, luckily the door was unlocked.
He didn't have the time to think of the damages they would have to pay if he broke the door in
The sight Jake saw made him dive head first into the room with his fist drawn out, he punched at the masked intruder.
The intruder was quick enough to dodge the attack and springing on his feet, he leapt out the open window.
Levi just raced in shortly after.
"What happened?" Levi asked.
"I think someone broke in" Jake answered. Anna's room didn't have any burglary on the window. But Jake was yet to know the full story.
