"Why do you hate 'evil', Hugo?" Liam asked, hands behind his back.
Hugo didn't know where the question came from but still answered.
"It is because of humans that hurt others for gain or just for the kick of it that the earth is dying,"
Liam shook his head and tapped Hugo's head twice with the tip of his cane.
"You're not answering the question, boy!" He laughed.
Hugo scoffed, irritatedly.
"This same evil and injustice wronged me at an age too young to realize what it was! What more definition do you want?"
"You say you want to save the Earth out of goodness and because you're a true hero, but right now, you just admitted to your desire to reach this goal only because it wronged you."
"How does it make you any different from those that you distinguish yourself from?"
Hugo's mouth parted a little, and he found himself unable to say any more than that.
