All things considered, he wasn't worried about Mystic Eye turning on him. His new transformation was enough to deal with people that had God-grad Awakenings. But hopefully, it didn't come to that.
The transformation took a different toll on his body compared to just using his power normally. Using it too frequently would more or less render him crippled and have his brain fried.
