A/N: I thought I wouldn't make my Tuesday deadline. I wrote 600 words yesterday and was going to write the other 600 today but my head started hurting like crazy. So took some aspirin and rested than watched Vixx being silly on youtube and finished this chapter. Cute boys give inspiration xd

When they arrived at there next scene Nicolas knew immediately where he was at. They were once again in the furen's room. For what reason, he didn't know, but he knew that she was an evil bitch so it had to be something to do with how Wei Yue ended up the way he did. He suddenly realized the furen wasn't alone there was a young woman sitting next to her. He couldn't help but wonder who she was.
"Ana, when is this and what is going on?" Nicolas asked.
'Big brother, this is 7 years from the point where the furen killed the Wei Yue's mother. The furen who is a very ambitious woman wants her daughter to become Empress and for that to happen she needs to marry the crown prince.'
Looking back at the two women Nicolas could see the resemblance, they both had those lovely phoenix eyes, small upturned noses, and high cheekbones. 'Ah, so the young woman next to the furen must be her daughter.' Nicolas thought.
"Does the daughter even want to be the empress?" Even is the mother was evil he didn't want to judge the daughter just because they were related, and if she didn't have such notions than maybe she could be of some use.
'She is the one who put the idea into her mother's head, Wei Ziyi is the evil soul we came to stop.'
Nicolas let out a bitter laugh thinking how he thought that the girl would be of some use.
"What can you tell me about her, Ana?"
'Her name used to be Zhang Bingbing. The evil soul was actually sent to the modern day version of this world, but due to an accident involving lightning and bus, the soul transmigrated into the body of Wei Ziyi one second after the original died from a fever.'
Nicolas had so many questions about the accident, like so many but he decided that it wasn't important to the situation to ask. He just motioned for Ana to continue on.
'Zhang Bingbing was 20 when she died she was a poor, overworked college student that was studying to be a doctor. When she transmigrated into Wei Ziyi, was only 12 years old at the time, she was confused but then grew to love being a rich, pampered daughter who every need was catered to.'
"Let me guess, something happens like she had a run in with a more powerful young lady who shows her up at something and she realizes her family wasn't as powerful as she thought. So she stops being satisfied with what she has and decides she wants more." Nicolas says sarcastically.
'Big brother, is very astute. That is exactly what happened.'
Nicolas was shocked. "Seriously, I was just half joking when I said that. It was from a book I read during my stay in the hospital in my original world."
'Well, you were correct. This scene that we about to watch will be very important, so make sure to pay attention, big brother.' With a wave of her tiny hand, the scene begins to play out.

"Mother, did you speak to father yet?" The young lady asked.
With a tiny frown between her brow, the furen replied, "Yes, I did, but he is too cautious, he doesn't want to get in the middle of the fight for the crown, but don't worry we won't need him."
"What do you mean mother?" The girl asks confused.
"My dear Ziyi," the furen said while gently caressing the young cheek. "Did you forgot that your grandfather is close to the emperor. The crown prince is in need of a new study partner and my father made sure to recommend your older brother. This way your brother can chat you up and get the prince interested in you."
Ziyi pulled away from her mother a bewildered look upon her face. "The crown prince? I told you I wanted to marry the 3rd prince."
"That concubine born prince? Why would you want to marry him? I thought you wanted to become the Empress?" the furen asked her angerly.
"I do want to become Empress, I think the third prince is the best person to be my husband if I want to achieve that goal."
"Why?! Why would a someone one like him be the best choice for your husband? He's not the crown prince. Do you think just because his mother is a little bit favored that it will turn the tides in his favor? Well, you're wrong, there nothing that woman can do to make her son the emperor. All the advisors are in the empress pocket and that won't be changing anytime soon."
Ziyi felt frustrated with this situation. As Nicolas looked in her mind he saw her debating what to do. She knew that the third prince will become the next emperor but she couldn't tell her mother how she knew it.
Seeing as Ziyi wasn't saying anything the furen continued on, "Even if your brother talks you up that won't be enough to impress the royals into granting you the marriage. I know you been working on your medicine skills, so I want you to volunteer at hospitals, pretend to help those peasants, make a name for yourself as a charitable person. We need to build you up as someone who is capable of being the mother of the nation."
Ziyi listened to her mother and realized her plan had some merit. She decided she would do as her mother said but on her own terms. Her goal was the third prince and from what she read about him in the future, Ziyi knew he wouldn't care for some fake charity worker. She decided to use her knowledge to become a true miracle worker. She will actually heal those peasant illnesses. She knew it wouldn't be hard since most illnesses from this time already had cures for them. Once her name is well known through the city than the third prince would notice her.
"Alright mother, I will do as you say," Ziyi said in a fake meek voice.

Suddenly the scene paused and Nicolas was again looking at still motionless figures "Well, she's definitely smarter than the last soul I had to go against."
'Yes, she is, Big brother,' Ana said just turning towards him. 'She also did what she set out to do. She became the miracle healer of the xxxx capitol, and words of her exploits got back to the Empress. She found out the Wei Ziyi is the younger sister of her son study partner. The same study partner that was helping her son win favor with the emperor. After checking after her family and learning that he a prime minister, the empress thought that she would be a good candidate to become the crown prince wife. She decided that she wanted to meet the girl and her mother, so she invited them to a banquet she was throwing to celebrate the new year. The banquet is where Wei Ziyi became someone that the emperor himself acknowledged and someone the princes thought would make them look more favorable in the eyes of the emperor.'
"So I guess it's time to head to the next scene," Nicolas said getting fired up. The more he saw the more he wanted to take down those bitches.
With a nod, Ana took them away.
