She didn't think that a moment's carelessness would lead to her losing Qin Shaoze, the man she coveted.
Yang Mei sighed in anger and annoyance as she kicked her heels away. With an ugly face, she swept her bangs up and huffed a puff.
"Did he go back?! How could he...!" Yang Mei didn't think that she was so undesirable to be left behind like this.
It was true that she first thought of him as nothing more than a capable man who might be a manager or supervisor of some sort. Even if he wasn't that wealthy, she could support him and be with him.
It was within her empathy and good feelings towards him that she chose him despite his 'flaws'.
But to think that he was so high up, a man who couldn't be easily approached by anyone, made Yang Mei feel that he was better than her. Thus, her pride hurt a little bit.
