The emperor was so shocked that he staggered a few steps. The young man in front of him smiled as he tilted his head seemingly casually as if he hadn't dealt a heavy blow.
"Are you really... Pei An's...?" Li Jun's voice shook as he asked for confirmation one more time.
And the answer he got was a cold hard truth, "I am,"
Li Yuze chuckled and said, "What else would you expect when I resemble my mother almost completely?"
Li Jun's jaw was tight as he asked, "Then are you my-"
"I'm not," Li Yuze cut the emperor's words halfway.
In a tone quite displeased, he continued, "There's no way for that to happen,"
Li Yuze was being borderline rude towards the emperor of the empire, the most sacred man and ruler of the nation. However, Li Jun couldn't even reproach him due to the brewing chaos inside his head.
He was so perplexed as well as disappointed once he heard that the possibility of the young man being his son was close to zero.
