When Qin Shaoze heard the door, he turned and was about to ask Pei Qian why she took so long outside. He was worried that Chen Ying would say something unnecessary to her.
However, the person he saw and the person he had been waiting for wasn't the same. He became confused when it was Pei Zeyan who came in instead of his sister.
"Pei Zeyan...?"
"It's nice to see you in good shape, Shaoze," Pei Zeyan smiled as he walked closer to the bed.
Qin Shaoze raised his brow, thinking that Pei Zeyan had just simply called his first name. Had they arrived at that level now?
"Thanks. You really don't have to visit me though, it's nothing serious," Qin Shaoze saw Pei Zeyan put down a basket of fruits and a small bouquet of unscented flowers on the table. He then turned to the window by his right with a bit of a smile.
