Sasha and Elena made their way deeper into the cave. The silence between them was one that Sasha had wished for. For as much as she would like to bond and talk to Elena, she had to concentrate on finding the protective shield.
They came to an end in the cave and found an opening. Together they walked out of the clearing to a lake. They met with Esteban who had also found their way into the lake. There was not much they could find in the cave except for the drawings on the wall that told the story of the sun and the moon.
Sasha could not accept defeat so easily as she could no longer track the protective shield. She was sure that it was there somewhere and she just had to find it.
"What now princess?" the royal adviser asked of her thinking that she was acting all smart when she didn't even know what she was doing. He was eagerly waiting for an opportunity to talk down to her and reprimand her for thinking so highly of herself.
