Esteban took Elena aside and handed her a bottle of portion. She looked at the portion in her hand and looked back up to him.
"It is necessary to drink if you want everything to return to normal. You can forget all that has happened that is away from the life you were originally supposed to live. After drinking it, you will forget everything including our children," he said to her explaining the use of the portion.
"We will drink it?" she asked him and he nodded in response.
"This is your last chance. Are you sure you want to forget and live just as you were before?" he asked her.
"I am sure," she said and drank the contents of the bottle. Esteban followed suit and emptied his bottle. They stood in each other's arms as the potion took effect.
