Elena woke up an hour later near the river, she was without any clothes. The cold breeze from the lake hit her body making her tremble with cold. The confusion of her current situation hit her harder than the cold she was feeling. Having experienced something for the first time in her life with no explanation as to how or why was frightening her.
The black blood princess was afraid, she has never known this feeling in the past but now it was the only emotion she could feel. Her body was trembling from both the cold and the fear.
"I am a black blood princess, I am indestructible and a goddess," she muttered over and over again to get back her lost confidence but it wasn't working. Her grandmother had taught her about black bloods and in the scriptures she read there was no where that stated a black blood vampire can feel pain. Black blood weren't supposed to have any weakness and that is the shield that has always gave her the confidence to do as she pleased.
