"You," Anika raised her voice and pointed her finger at Valeria.
The guests held their breath feeling sorry for Valeria and the fate that awaited now that she had offended the princess of Zaredon.
"Don't raise your voice," Valeria let out in a commanding tone. "Raising your voice isn't going to make you heard anymore than when you speak softly," she added unfazed by the anger inside Anika's eyes.
In fact her anger brought a smile to her face. It completed her for reasons she knew not of. It was like she had made her first step in defeating her enemies. She couldn't understand why she felt of Anika as her enemy and wasn't going to try to as it would only confuse her more.
"I will make you pay for this," she threatened to her. She raised her hand to hit her, Valeria turned away closing her eyes in freight. She waited for impact but it never came.
