Esteban stood next to the princess and received the blessings of his in laws. They blessed their marriage and prayed for the two of them to have a happy marriage.
They do this every year and every year their marriage just gets worse. One would think they cursed them instead of blessings.
After receiving the blessing it was time for Anika to be weighed in gold by the guests of the family who have been invited to join the celebration.
One after the other the guests kept the gold they brought with them on the weighing scale until it lifted Anika off the ground.
