Victoria was still angry at Baron. All the explanations regarding the nonsensical inner voice seemed like something Baron really trust.
"Listen, Baron. At my place, there's nothing about the inner voice. I don't want to think that you're just making it up," said Victoria.
"I told you the truth, Vic."
"Yes, and I've been told all along that if a man is married, then he must be faithful to his partner and not sleep with another woman."
Baron looked down. His face looked sad and disappointed. "I don't know how to explain it to you."
"I understand that you and your wife may not love each other, but that shouldn't be an excuse for an affair. Worse yet, you're having an affair with me. If I had known that you were married, I wouldn't have wanted to be with you, Ron. You have disappointed me."
Victoria held back tears from falling. She was fed up with all this. All this time, she had loved a man who was someone else's husband.
