That morning, Victoria woke up because of the sound of a noisy bird. She came out of Doru's tent and was surprised to see a flock of birds of various kinds flying above her.
Baron, Doru, and Raymond were standing in front of the tent, looking up. Baron furrowed his brows and said, "Where did those birds come from?"
"I don't know either," said Doru.
Kahori had just come out of the tent and was standing next to Victoria.
"Oh no!" She squeezed Victoria's hand with a frightened look on her face. "That bird again!" Kahori pointed to one of the largest birds among the other birds. "It will kill us all!"
"Have you seen it, Kahori?" asked Victoria.
"Yes. I saw it last night. The big bird is flying over our tent," replied Kahori with shaking hands.
"It looks like the bird is already aiming for us!" exclaimed Raymond. "We have to clear up the tents and get out of here!"
