Chapter 12 - 12. Strange Handsome Man

She takes off her clothes and stands under the shower. She clearly remembers everything that happened today. She never thought that she would beat the thugs badly.

Victoria stared at her palms. At that time, her palms were green. Is she descended from the Kulk? She felt a superpower suddenly enter her.

Now, when she is just finishing the dishes makes her hands stiff. Her hand that a knife cut had hit was throbbing. She had to put medicine on her hand again.

After finished take a bath, Victoria puts on a towel to her body and then looks at herself in the mirror. She's still the same Victoria as usual. Nothing has changed. She wides her eyes and sees, maybe they had turned green too. It looks like her eyes are just fine.

Victoria walks into her room and puts on a worn T-shirt and shorts to sleep. She rubs her hair with a towel and draped the towel over the back of the chair.

She takes medicine from her bag and applies it to her hand. She remembered when Raymond kissed her on the cheek. Suddenly her cheeks get hot.

This stupid thing can't be happening. Victoria didn't know Raymond. He talks about the flash disk, which is his lousy friend wanted. Could it be that Raymond is an evil person? She still cannot trust him one hundred percent.

As a mature woman, she must take good care of herself from all the possibilities that occur in this world. Maybe she won't see Raymond tomorrow.

This day just passed away like a dream. Victoria will start a new day tomorrow. She needs to rest and restore her energy and mind.

"I'll be fine," said Victoria to herself.

She lays on the bed and closes her eyes. Her hair is still damp. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself, but she can't. The image of the thugs' faces still haunted her mind.

There was a noise from outside; it was like the sound of a trash can falling. Victoria opened her eyes quickly and walked over to the window. She opened the window slowly and saw two strange people fixing the trash can to its first position.

One of them was a woman with fiery red hair tied high on the top of her head. Her hair hung down her back, and her body looked muscular. Her clothes looked like Japanese anime costumes. She was holding a long sword that looked huge and heavy.

Victoria shook her head. On this day there are so many strange people. Maybe a Japanese anime club party was being held tonight; she didn't know.

And another one was a man with black hair as night. There were thin sideburns on his chin. He was tall and looked stocky, but he didn't look like a bodybuilder. He only wore a leather jacket that covered half of his body; his stomach was still visible.

Victoria did not blink, staring at the curves of his abs in his stomach. His skin is tan, and to be honest, it looks so hot. The man is wearing trousers that match the color of the ground.

The man turns at her, so their eyes met each other. Victoria is out of breath as she looks even more clearly at the man's face. The man is very handsome.

His eyes were green like trees in the forest, staring at her with sharp eyes. Victoria feels her heart stabbed in the middle by the look of his eyes.

His jaw looked sturdy, the kind of jaw that wouldn't easily break when struck by a hard fist. Then his lips. Victoria feels something tingle at the bottom of her stomach.

The way he stared at her as if he felt something strange about Victoria. Victoria quickly examined herself. Could it be that she forgot to wear clothes?

She was already wearing clothes, even without a bra. Her hair sure looks disheveled. She suddenly smoothed her hair, but the man had gone with his friend carrying a sword.

It looks like Victoria is having hallucinations. She looks for the strange woman and the handsome man, but she couldn't find them. They are like being lost in the wind.

She is curious, she out of his room hurry and goes down the stairs. Her mother is watching TV alone in the living room. She unlocked the door and went out to confirm it with her own eyes.

The street in front of her house is quiet; there is no one out there. Vaguely she hears a dog barking in the distance. It might be Chuck's dog, her neighbor whose house is just down the road.

Victoria wipes her face and then goes back into her house; she does not forget to lock the door. She is about to go up the stairs when her mother suddenly called her.

"Vicky. What is wrong?" asked her mother.

"Noting. I'm just looking around."

"Are you sure?"

Her mother then approached her and looked at her with a strange expression. "Do you have an appointment with your boyfriend at the bedroom window?"

"No. What am I meeting someone at the window for?"

"I don't know. For fun, maybe. "

"I'm not that type," said Victoria a little angrily.

"It's OK, Vicky. Mom wouldn't stop you if you had a boyfriend."

"I better go to sleep. Good night, Mom. "

Victoria climbs the stairs quickly, leaving her mother looking suspicious of her. Just let her mother suspect her; Victoria didn't do anything wrong.

"Hey, wait. What's the matter with your hand?" Her mother runs after Victoria to the stairs and takes her hand. Her mother examines Victoria's injured hand.

Victoria takes her hand away. "I am just fine. I fell off the bike this afternoon," said Victoria lied.

"Next time you have to be careful."

"OK."

She hopes her mother doesn't know that she just lied. Besides, her mother couldn't believe it if she said that she had just fought three thugs by herself.

When Victoria returns to her room, she realizes that she had forgotten to close the window. She feels that something is different in her room. The towel disappears.

She walks into the window, looks right and left; there is no one. Victoria sighs, then she closed the window tightly.

Her feelings did not feel calm. What if there's a criminal in her room? Victoria feels scared, so she checks the room and bathroom. There is no one there. She is alone.

Finally, Victoria decided to lay down on the bed and sleep.

She had a restless sleep. She rolled right and left as she dreamed of attacking thugs. This time the knife stabbed into his stomach until she bled. Victoria fell to the ground in pain.

Suddenly the strange but handsome man arrived in front of her and helped her. The man fought the thugs with a long sword. His movements were blurry in her eyes.

Victoria tried to focus on seeing, but she couldn't. The thugs are successfully paralyzed. The man then knelt beside her and called out her name.

"Victoria ..."

Victoria opens her eyes and found that she is in her room. The sun hasn't risen yet.

Her heart is beating very fast.  It is just a dream.

She turns to the side and sees the strange man sitting on a chair reading a book in her diary. Victoria is shocked, as is the man.

Victoria is searching for the light switch on the bedside table. However, she is too late. When the light is on, the strange man has disappeared. She finds the window open.
