Chapter 59 - Excuses

Now it was my time to panic. I didn't specify in the spell which I casted on them that they wouldn't have any problem with the boys.

I had only stated that they wouldn't bother with Becky and I while we were at Coachella.

Mom's face was a mixture of confusion and slow recognition, but her brain was probably at war with how she should react right now.

"I'm sorry, but have we met before?" Dad asked Zeke who just grunted and pushed his way inside the van.

Dad scratched his head, wondering who the disrespectful teen was.

But what he didn't know was that the spell I casted on them had probably already overridden and pushed all thoughts aside in favor of my orders.

"We met right here, mom, dad! It was one big coincidence our vans are parked right beside each other, so we meet once in a while." I interjected. "Right, boys?"

My eyes swerved and threw ice cold daggers at the boys, urging them to play along with us.
