"You have a lot of similarity with William, Bash. Whenever I see you, I just get reminded of the pain."
There was a long pregnant pause before everything kicked in for Bash. I had waited for about a several minutes of dreadful silence while he had this blank look in his face.
"Now that you know who William is, are you happy now?" I asked him.
I cocked my head sideways as I turned to face him. My arms were crossed below my chest and I gave him a long and pensive look.
His mouth was taut and his dark brows were scrunched into that trademark raven bridge. He clearly was contemplating things over and I turned away, losing interest in his response as he was taking too long to say something – anything at that.
"Hmm…" I heard him hum.
It was as if the things I had told him didn't make sense to him at all.
