Xia Qin Yi never experienced living outside the Feng Manor in her past life, all of her knowledge about the outside world is told by her 'loving' sisters. She never stepped out of the manor since she was little and when she grew up, her father forbids her to go outside. Saying that the world outside of those tall walls is too cruel for her, that he doesn't want her 'precious' daughter to suffer even the slightest bit.
The Xia Qin Yi now is not that ignorant anymore. She can absorb the pieces of information by just observing. She might be new to this, but she's not that dumb. By the use of her past experiences, sharp memory, and advanced senses, she can live comfortably in the new environment.
The road is crowded with people. The bustling streets of the city are lively at night. The music and lights from the buildings and stalls make it more exciting. Colorful.
Xia Qin Yi heads to the nearby mall after walking the noisy streets of the city. While holding her heavy-looking-bag, her face hidden by a blue cap, she leisurely walks to the mall.
After entering the mall, she heads to the gadgets section and plans to buy a phone.
There were not many people in the store she walked in.
" Good evening miss, what model are you looking for?" The sales lady said with full of smiles. Xia Qin Yi looks at the phone inside the glass.
" This one, please. " Her cold voice startles the employee.
" Oh-ye-yes. Give me a second. " The employee looks at the phone Xia Qin Yi wants to buy, and she saw that it was the latest model of a famous brand and the price is higher than any phones and gadgets that can be found in the store. She pauses for a while and hesitantly took the phone outside the glass.
A voice suddenly interrupts the whole store.
" I want that phone. Give it to me." A voice that is not too good for the ears, sounded once again. They looked at a young girl not past 17 wearing a branded dress. Her face is painted with immaturity as well as her voice.
A sudden silence wraps the whole place. The girl whose voice is like a broken bell startles the few customers. Saying how can a girl not past her adulthood, scream like a madwoman in a place like this. Not just that, the girl is surely from a wealthy family.
Xia Qin Yi stands there like a stone, not giving the slightest bit of attention to her surrounding.
"Wrap it up for me." Xia Qin Yi put her card on the counter while looking around the gadgets as if its more interesting than the 'shrew' near her.
" Y-yes, Miss." The attendant swipes the card swiftly and wraps the high-end phone immediately.
"Good." Xia Qin Yi grab the paper bag and walks out of the shop without even looking at the girls
who's about to explode her whole face.
" Hey! You stop for me! " Said the wealthy-looking girl, while shouting.
Xia Qin Yi didn't even bother to look back and disappear in the crowd.
The girl glares at the attendant who doesn't stop talking by her side, recommending some stuff that doesn't suit her interest.
She goes out today to buy the phone she's interested in, but because of its high demand, the phone is always out of stock online or even in malls.
She wants to buy it to brag in front of her classmates in school, but now that the last one has been purchased, she needs to wait again for weeks. She grudgingly walks out of the shop without buying anything. The crowd dispersed after the commotion.

A girl with a white complexion enters an elite building at the center of the city. She walks up to the receptionist and lays her room card to get the key. The receptionist stares at her with a wide eye, because the card was the second to the last floor near the penthouse that cost dozens of millions.
The attendant immediately put the key card on the counter and smile politely at the girl.
The girl nodded politely then head towards the elevator.
The girl we are talking about here is Xia Qin Yi. She chooses her floor number and waits for the elevator door to close.
" Wait! Wait! " A voice slowly reaches her ears coming from the outside of the elevator. The sound was clearly from a milky kid about 5 years old. The kid pantingly approaches the elevator and goes in.
After catching his breath, the kid stares at the buttons and wants to push the floor number but can't reach the desired button. He embarrassingly lowers his hand and slowly looks at Xia Qin Yi. They are the only ones in the elevator. The kid's face was red and pursed his lips.
Xia Qin Yi looks at the kid. She retracts her gaze to the kid. A voice broke the silence inside the elevator. It was a cold voice that shatters the silence.
" What floor?" The voice said.
The kid is startled. Staring at Xia Qin Yi with red cheeks.
" Uhm--40th floor..." The kid said with a milky voice.
Xia Qin Yi pushes the button for the 40th floor and stands there languidly.
" Thank you..." A voice sounded like a mosquito sounded again and then there was silence.
Xia Qin Yi looks at the boy and then looks up to the numbers coldly.
The sound of the elevator opening sounded and Xia Qin Yi walks out immediately.
The kid opens his mouth but closes it again. He watches her back until the elevator closed again.
